Who can join?
Our running group is built on a simple but powerful philosophy: pace by partner. It doesn't matter if you've never run before or if you have half a dozen ultra races under your belt. You're welcome just as you are.
We always run as a group and no one is left behind on the trail. The pace is set by those who need it most and we celebrate each other's progress. Training is more fun together!
Maybe you want to get started with exercise in a more sustainable way? Or maybe you're an experienced runner who wants more community and variety in your training? Either way, you've come to the right place.

What do we train?
Each session contains three parts that build on each other – technique, strength, and health. Everything adapted to the group.
Technique Training
We place great emphasis on running technique – how you land your foot, arm movements, posture, and breathing. Good technique reduces injury risk and makes running more efficient and enjoyable on all surfaces.
- Stride and cadence analysis
- Hilly terrain and trail-specific technique
- Hill running – up and down
- Agility drills in the forest
Running Strength
Strong body – better runner. We integrate functional strength training directly into the run; bodyweight exercises that activate glutes, thighs, core, and stabilizers.
- Functional outdoor strength exercises
- Core and trunk stability
- Single-leg stability and balance
- Progressive loading week by week
Health & Mobility
Every session ends with stretching and mobility work. We talk about recovery, sleep habits, nutrition, and how to take care of your body between sessions too.
- Dynamic warm-up & cooldown
- Stretching and mobility exercises
- Tips on recovery and sleep habits
- Conversations about sustainable training habits

Mimmi & Marcus
Founders, Wilda Outdoors · Spånga
Who are we?
We are Mimmi and Marcus – a couple who live in Spånga and are passionate about outdoor life, health, and the community that emerges when people move together in nature.
With several years of experience as group leaders in running and outdoor training, we've led hundreds of sessions, participated in ultra races, and above all learned what makes a good group coach: attentiveness, joy, and patience.
We started Wilda Outdoors to spread health and nature experiences in our hometown. The running group in Spånga is a natural next step – giving neighbors and beginners the chance to experience what we love, for real and without pretension.
What can you expect?
Each week has a new theme. Sessions rotate between different types so you train all aspects of running and strength throughout the season – and always last around one hour.
Technique Session
Focus on running technique – foot placement, posture, arm movements, and cadence drills. Good technique reduces injury risk and makes running more enjoyable on all surfaces.
Hill Session
Hill intervals for extra strength and explosiveness. We train both uphill and downhill technique – one of the most fun and effective forms of running training.
Interval Session
Short structured intervals to build aerobic capacity and pace management. Sessions are varied and always adapted to the group's level.
Base Running
Longer easy run on the trail where we find our rhythm and enjoy the forest. Perfect for recovery and building a strong aerobic base.
Strength & Mobility
Functional bodyweight exercises woven into the run – core, glutes, balance, and stability. We always finish with stretching and mobility work.
